Trip to Moldova

We finally did it! We made a quick dash to Moldovan boarder last Saturday. We needed to get our daddy out and back into the country to meet his requirement of not overstaying his time in Ukraine. Although we did overstay, and could have been fined about $900, God was gracious and provided a sweet border guard who let us go. Ukraine recently has changed the policy for foreigners to remain in the country for only 90 days. If you are to remain for more then 90 days, registration is a must. It is rather difficult to register here in Crimea, so Jason have been leaving the country every 6 months. From now on we have 3 months before we have to leave the country and since we will be leaving in June- we will be good! PTL!

We had a good time getting to know Zhenya Shved and his little son Elijah. Zhenya, with his wife Amy work with Pioneer Bible Translators interpreting the Bible for Crimean Tatars. They have four children, 3 boys and 1 cute little girl who is 3 months old. Elijah and Lilly had a great time playing for hours (we spent at least the total of 13 hours in the car!). Thank you for driving all that way Zhenya!

The bottom line we had a great time crossing the boarder and coming back home. Maybe someday we will visit Moldova and sightsee. our love
